What size pulley are you running on the charger dude? Also if you can, get a cold air feed pipe from the front grill to air filter. It makes a difference

It comes with a 4.75" pulley, that comes out to ~10psi but only at high revs. I haven't gotten on the throttle hard since it needs some fine tuning but at 3500rpm it's getting 5-6psi. Also have to upgrade the band clamps.

Gas shocks, lowering springs, adj panhard bar, adj upper control arm, billet lower control arms, stiffer front and rear sway bars, and then an alignment after all that lol.... it handles pretty good but it's a bit different now with this much more weight up front.



Put in the fuel pressure gauge today (finally). The fuel system wire upgrade kit and kenne bell boost-a-pump came in the mail today, those will go in saturday and so will the tbolt clamps if they get here before then (they fucking better). Then for next wednesday I'm trying to get the afternoon booked with the tuner, he says he has it open but he'll know for sure on friday. SO... wednesday nights drive back from orlando should be a fucking blast if everything goes as planned! I'll be taking video too.

Also the belt was squeaking like a raped pig yesterday but it seems to be 95% gone today.

How's it running temp wise? That front mount getting enough exposure?

Even in the hottest heat today with a LOT of time sitting still at lights it only got to 200 degrees (F). The fan kicks on at 190, the whole cooling setup works great

Did this in the morning, more than loud enough to wake the dead and then deafen them..



Tuned and dyno'd last wednesday, put down 421hp and 394tq. Numbers weren't as high as I expected but we'll see what the track times are since that's what's important anyways.

Any, go to any local parts store, and get "Belt Dressing".. it will get rid of that noise and it will also clean the belts to get rid of the coolant.

and tdi's are different monsters, though, they have it right by using turbo's.

about 8psi, but only around 210bhp

Already took care of it, the problem was actually a broken idler mount for the accessory belt. It's sort of fixed right now, as in it can't get any better without a big teardown, and it can't get any worse. I'm fine with that, the noise goes away after a minute anyways. Although I do use the belt dressing whenever I clean belts. Soap em up, let them dry, spray it with dressing, reinstall.

the 4.6 mod on boost almost sounds as nice as a 302.
