Are you all on fucking crack ?, it was good for star wars cos it was already bastardised and the only way is up from Lucas, this though has disaster written all over it, no doubt they'll lose the singing but disneys plotlines on their own are more recycled than Call of Duty games.

Am I missing something here, or are you actually unaware that this is a thread from 2009 and since then, Disney bought Marvel, and the Avengers movie was made?

I was pretty cynical about this one, but so far it hasn't turned out to have been such a bad thing.

Avengers was already in the pipeline before 2009, did you stay until after the credits of Iron Man in 2008 ?, Whedon had already written the Astonishing X Men so could even argue he was a shoe in. Disney only started stripping down Marvel at the end of last year (granted it was their marketing team, which was kinda obvious) and only really contributed by throwing money at its promotion.

Have you seen the new Spiderman ?, or wonder why it was rebooted so soon with some punk ?, WB has saturated DC comics by doing this shit, although the comic books side seems to be somewhat unaffected from what I can tell which is a huge bonus.

The new Spiderman was very good...? And it was rebooted because the old ones were a bit shit

Doesn't stop it from being a cash grab though, the last thing we needed was another origin story.

I thought it was the worst n all, and I hated Spiderman 3
