"Illegal Tiger Possession"
I think I might be a bit jaded in regards to the degree of awesomeness of that last episode. In comparison to the average Sons of Anarchy episode, it seems pretty tame. It was a great show, and the series overall is phenomenal. I think Bryan Cranston does a masterful job, and I agree with the way they've developed Hank over the course of the series. I hated him at first, he was the perfect overgrown frat boy, but I found myself hoping that he wouldn't end up with an axe in his head. I loved the scene where he was sobbing like a bitch in the elevator and then back to stone-faced goon once the doors opened.
The only thing I didn't like about the episode was given the fit that Jesse threw (and yes it was believable), it seemed a bit stupid for him to just change his mind and agree to partner up with Walt a few minutes later.

I think there might be more to the Jesse U-Turn actually. Its possible he be working with him intentionally as a means to revenge, since he blames him for everything that went wrong in his life. Did you notice the shot of the pain chart too? It's gonna be interesting to see how it develops.
Oh and apparently, the other cousin (the one who got crushed) is still alive, so hopefully they can keep the steam rolling with regards to the general insanity that is going on now

Just watched the last ep. ("Half Measures"). Show goes from strength to strength.
Not as exciting and pumping adrenaline as "One Minute", the one where Hank gets attacked by the cousins, but ever so well written. There's no filler episodes or padding of episodes in BB, everything matters and everything clicks. So fucking enjoyable to watch.
Season finale next week. Episode's called "Full Measure". Not sure what that means.
The way Mike told his story when visiting Walt about regretting taking "half measures" with the wife beater when he was a cop seems to suggest Jesse is on the hit list.
Maybe "full measure" suggests Walt going all Heisenberg on Gus, taking *him* out in order to protect Jesse, feeling some loyalty and guilt (having left Jane to die, etc.).
But that would seem quite a risky task to take on.
However, the show's endurance dicates that both Walt and Jesse survive, but I'm still very curious about how this season will play out.
On a side note: These have to be the ugliest cars I've ever seen driven a single production.

Yeah, granted, there's no real plot development there.
Just emphasizing Walt's eye for detail, almost being anal about it, the bigger picture in mind, and Jesse's lack of seeing that, and being a short term minded idiot.
Jesse just living day by day. Seeking revenge on all that he thinks caused him and his harm.
But I wouldn't call it a "filler episode". Just an episode establishing states of mind. Preparing us for the shit that's about to ensue.

yeah it was filler, the plot points were legit, but they didn't need 45 minutes to develop them. it was boring.

Yay! Had not noticed season 3 started \0/
Not the best show ever in my book, but certainly refreshing and solid telly

Hmm, trying to figure out whats gonna happen with that last episode ending.
I think the "boss" gave the go ahead for Walt to lay the smack down after the kid was killed.

I meant the boss had already given Walt the go ahead to lay the smack down on those two dudes. We don't know where he went first after running out during dinner.
Maybe..

Walt already knew the kid was dead when he ran out during dinner. What I'm saying is it's possible, between the time he left dinner and the time he killed those two dudes, he expressed his outrage to the boss. The boss then gave him the go ahead for revenge.

Nope, pretty obvious to me that this was just a rash move on the part of Walt and he did it on his own. I imagine Gus is gonna be furious when he finds out.
Hiesenberg is back baby.

brisk didn't pose an alternate theory. It's pretty obvious that that is the way things went down.

Well, I wouldn't bet money on my theory, just thinking a little outside the box.
What you say seems quite obvious I agree, but the show seems to veer away from the obvious.
If I'm right you spit shine my rectum. If you're right, I'll send you the latest "manatee's gone wild" dvd.

walt should have wasted jessy a long time ago instead of droping more bodys because of him. the thing that dissapointed me in the last episode was how they portrayed the hiearchy and how things roll in the buissness. gus, the smart drug boss, is handling with some filth from the street thats selling his product to junkies for a few bucks... thats not how it works..

Uh, Skyler pretty much told Walt to fuck off in the last episode. He's not going to be hitting that any time soon.
