That's what I'd say, without the faggot insult or the fisting reference of course.

Guess i dont have to fist myself :p

But, like sys0p said, the chance of that being the final in-game polycount is slim. Slim, because you just cant do that kind of polycount in a game that has 20+ of those cars, plus people, plus high poly models, plus all those shadows and other tech.

It just doesn't work. Not even on an Xenon. Surely.

Of course, I really, really do hope to be proven wrong when the final game comes out.

What the fuck are you on?
Bad Day L.A. sounds like a frikkin' blast. A typical American McGee piece of mind game. The graphics look awesome IMO. The style makes it look rather odd, but especially this image shows how well they achieved this (european) comic book style of graphics.
:icon19: It looks like what would happen if I did the all of the textures and skins for a game. It isn't even cell shaded through the engine I don't think. It looks like they're just painting everything on and doing a bad job of it. The character skins are for the most part god aweful. Looks at the faces, it reminds me of Goldeneye.

Dude, that style is exactly what a lot of children's comic books look like. You're totally missing the point of it.

turns out these are not real time, and are not next gen

steel monkeys is developing this game for current gen consoles and pc

I don't think they have a publisher yet, so some other people have speculated that these are just renders using game art for the pc version--putting on a pretty face to try and attract some money
