The sound effect will be replaced. I find it annoying myself, so a friend of mine will make a better one. The doors won't be changed because I have no texture creating skills at all and I'm content with this one gothic texture. The lights on the wall are less gothic than before (the last version had ornate church windows). I tried luminescent tubes, but they looked way worse than the red slime behind a glass pane covered by a grate.

That's a funny detail about the two empty rooms. I thought about a CTF version of LFFD where these rooms would be accessible. The whole map would be rotated by 180° at the rear walls of the rooms and doors would be added. But converting this map into CTF is by far harder than I imagened, because the layout has some areas - no matter where you'd put the flag - that would be used very much. I still think about a way to create a CTF version, but don't rely on it, I guess it's not possible.

EDIT: My map getting played on any server is a cool thing. That's what is was made for =)
