My original nick was Nightshade2050, as Nightshade was taken and 2050 is (for some odd reason) the year I thought at one point I was likely to die. I chose Nightshade because of a character in a book I read once. I had no idea it was a flowering plant, and once that was pointed out to me, I tried to save inter-face by saying that it was a "lethal herb", since the only thing I did know about nightshade was that it was poisonous. Yes, I am a moron at times.

I chose mancubus cuz it is a character out of Doom and for no particular reason. The big fat fuck with rocket launchers for arms.

I was registering a Hotmail account, and "duffman" was taken. It suggested "duffman91." Since "91" repeated in personal life, I kept it. (Birth year of family member, home address, school PIN, etc)

my original nick was StepbacK ,that was derived from never using a reverse key.

i played alot alot of q3 demo and later reg q3 under that nick at places like bob barkers showcase showdown and the other popular ffa servers at the time.

then i found this place and lurked awhile and regged under my StepBacK nick and made a few typical-of-me posts that weren't that well received lol, they included lawnmower pics and stuff

then later when i finally figured out how to play with the members here i played my first time with players like Nightshade and xed, xed did me the courtesy of emailing me a config cuz it was obvious i was struggling with ca lol

even tho i was a noob i did ok and got flamed in game so i re-regged under the plained nick (because steppie was so ill recieved) and made my first plained post in r&r to discuss the upsetizm

i remember nightshade posted and he was cool about it and yourgramps flamed my nick!

i have all the posts and screenshots somewhere on my old mac hehe
