shite how dumb can i get, i was thinking m3 <> dm3 :dork:

here we go again :D
288,43 * 22.0*10^-9 = 5025,46*10^-9 grams in 1 litre
>> divide by 10 for dl
502,546*10^-9 gr in 1 dl
>> times 1000 for 10^-12 which is pico
502546 pgr in 1 dl

lol.
nightshade how did you get .5pg/dl btw??

Because 1 mol is 1x10^9 nmol.

Yeah, it has to be in pgr/dl. I don't have anything else other than the nmol part, that's all the doctor gave me.

oi fool! is this what you mean?
Total Testosterone
Some men have their total testosterone measured. Standard reference ranges are between 241-827 nanograms/dL for most laboratories. Many older men are below 241. Optimal levels of total testosterone for most men are between 500-827 nanograms/dL. If your levels are lower than 500 nanograms/dL or even a little higher and you still have symptoms, you should check your free testosterone by the Direct (RIA) method.
if so it should be ngr/dl wich would make it 502,546 ngr/dl. you're in the safe bud

lol, yeah, I know I'm safe, I just need the picograms/dliter value. I can't believe they make this shit so complex, there should be a universal measure. I'm going to have to get another test done privately.

Cheers for the help, much appreciated.

just multiply it by 1000 ( ->502546), why do you need it anyways?

Can you convert 22.0 nmol/liter to picograms/deciliter for me? cheers man
normal range for males is 10-30 nmol/liter, so you're normal (well, testerone wise)

mol/liter is SI (international standard), in medicine we often use mmol/liter (millimol), but hormones circulate in such small amounts that you can better use nanomol.

So I'm on the high side of normal, or is anything above 30 considered high? How does the range work? Surely an 18 year old owuld have more test in his body than me?

Those ranges are always a bit 'flexible' IMHO - and yea, the 18 year old should have a higher concentration of test than you...but there are always going to be individual variances.
