So I definitely have the smallest penis, because I mainly run this:

Except I think he typo'd a bit because mine is 1366X768, unless he has 2px more then me and that means that my dick is even smaller...fuck.
Anyway I went from and old desktop and a netbook to a ~12in lap-netbook-top. While my still old as fuck on the desktop at 1024 wide, it's only 1280 tall lol. This beast(the laptop) does 720 fine, and that's all I care about. When I want to see things in beautiful blu ray my parents have a PS3 and a fuckin huge TV, 57 inches or something.
Still I can't believe people are running so high. I guess I've just become an average PC user
oh yeah obviously my desktop is 4:3 and laptop is the 16:10 not 16:9
I hate having to explain that shit to non computer people. My sister was sizing a backpack and telling me how her friend's laptop barely fit in and blah blah you know

Thats the standard resolution for a 27" imac which doesnt support bluray. I'm assuming thats what everyone in this thread has. Otherwise i think there is only a couple other $1k+ stand alone 27" monitors with that.

I wish I could stand using Macs so I could justify getting one of those. I have to use one for work, and I get irritated with OSX very easily (fortunately there are enough hacks so I can kick it into shape in accordance with my muscle memory, but some things are still hard to work around).
I'd just install Linux on it, and then feel like a retard for spending so much on a Mac and running Linux on it.

the apple tax really isnt as high as you think. when i looked there was some comparable sony all-in-ones for pretty much the same price, its just a balance of features vs aesthetics. but yeah i feel you on the OS takes some time to adjust. also, bootcamp.

The problem I had last time I was using OSX wasn't so much taking time to adjust, it was that I was using two different environments (basically) at the same time that used different physical motions to do the same things. It gets irritating beyond reason not being able to do things like "select text from current position to start of line" unconsciously (shift-home in Windows/Linux, Shift-Cloverleaf-Left Arrow in OSX -- shift-home in OSX selects from current cursor to start of document).
Little things like that just drive me up the fucking wall and make me hate this OS.
The only reason I've ever dual booted has been for games, and with OSX that's
