WindowBlinds 4.5 works just great for me, no crashes, no bugs, no performance hit.

stylexp works fine for me, SP2, just disable stylexp.exe from running

Version 4 and above use hardware acceleration for their effects. There is basically no performance loss at all compared to using default XP themes. And it skins EVERYTHING.
