A couple of guys in the office have bought them, and we actually did a side-by-side comparison with an iPad 2. I honestly couldn't notice a difference when viewed under normal circumstances at typical range, but my office is filled with Apple fanboys desperately trying to justify their purchases, so they're naturally saying the difference is amazing.
I haven't seen such a blatant example of social brainwashing and denial since I ruined a friend's faith in Astrology by proving to her it was simple mass psychology.

However, I think the 3 is also proof of exactly how much Apple relied on Jobs' vision. I don't think he would have let this thing out of the door in its current state. A simple res bump wouldn't have been enough for him.

theres only like 3 apps that actually use the new res anyway. im sure youll see a difference if you compare them on different screens.

or not, i dont know. all i know is designs will be about 1.2GB now. goodie.

Reading and replying to this post with mine. Every opinion aside, as mostly in this thread there's been opinions of people who don't even actually own one... It's the best tablet on technical specification out there. Screen is better than 1080p, wide software selection and the new GPU is straight out of the PS Vita. Wether it's much better than the iPad 2 or wether it'll be replaced in 3 months (or next spring when it's due a refresh) or not... It's the best tablet available TODAY.
