I would like to have my satnav project arrows or a line across the road on the windshield of my car to indicate where I should go. That would be awesome.

This shit is inevitable. Soon we won't even be buying TV's anymore, just these glasses. Maybe we'll start having these panels on walls that the glasses put pictures in to "simulate TV" or something.

Either way, all of you naysayers waving your fucking grampy sticks at technology are gonna get a slap in the face cause this is just the start.

You know what the biggest problem is with this? It makes sure your eyes are locked to a screen completely controlled by Google all the time.

We might not see it in our lifetime but the natural evolution of humankind isn't going to be newtonian in nature. It'll be an integration of human consciousness and machine and this is just us starting to test the waters.

lul wat. were you trying to say 'darwinian'?

uh, no. that integration started a long time ago. a synthetic information processor doesn't need to be plugged straight into anyone's pre-frontal cortex to be integrated

Factually correct, though; Kracus cleverly asserted homo sapiens isn't going to evolve into a species somehow able to defy gravity.

unless they're planning to field entire battalions of marty feldmans, i don't see how contract lenses can increase FOV
