i look forward to the console port with drm

Most of it I can't really talk about. But I will try to answer your question: While the demo had a specific place/intersection for causing the accident, it's a global feature: you can hack any traffic light system whenever you like and watch the results. I have to say this game has some of the best crowd reactions I've ever seen...leagues beyond AC.Κracus wrote:The car accident was fucking amazing. What I'm wondering though is if it's a scripted accident. If you can cause accidents and pileups like that at will then that's an amazing game mechanic. If it's scripted not so much.
In GTA you can cause pileups but they don't have that believable feel to them in Crackdown 1 you could snipe car tires on the highway and produce fairly impressive crashes and pileups but again, the ai in the cars had none of that believable reaction to an accident.
Any comments GKY or is this non disclosure material?
Sorry I missed this.ToxicBug wrote:GONNAFISTYA, how do you like Montreal?
Sure I can. Just not at the office.MKJ wrote:i knew you were working on Patriots, no idea you were involved in this project.
a step up, I'd say.
you know you cant call Ubi the devil and greedy whores and whatnot anymore, rite?
Whoops...didn't see this.xer0s wrote:I guess I missed the point of the game. It looks cool, but what's the overall objective?
I think my question is valid. From GTA preview footage, it's pretty obvious your objective is to move your way up the crime ladder, until you're at the top (causing mayhem in the process). With this Watch Dogs preview, all I see is mayhem. No real clear objective for me...Eraser wrote:What kind of dumb question is that? Would you ask the same about GTA preview footage?
You don't think that "sending a message" by killing someone in the street with dozens of witnesses indicates a larger motive?xer0s wrote:I think my question is valid. Moron alert. That "GTA preview footage" was a trailer, it's supposed to give you an idea of the story and gameplay. What you just watched was a fucking STAGE DEMO of a game that's still in development.xer0s wrote:I think my question is valid. Scanned the site code and found nothing. Things that jumped to me: there's a light bars installation on the video going through the exhibit that maybe has numbers to decipher. The rows have 30, 18 and 25 26 bars, from top to bottom. I'm attaching the frame.
About the twitter account, searched for the date of creation (at http://whendidyoujointwitter.com) and found that "was" created at june 5, 2012. Weird or not?
lolAlso found this in the Watchdog Official page's source code....

This was interesting to me:
"revisit-after" content="7 Days"
New info coming in 7 days?
EDIT: Also, not sure if this really means anything or not, but I will just throw it out there just in case...

It's definitely better than Eastern Europe, but it's still the armpit of Canada IMO. I'm trying to leave Montreal as soon as I can. Having said that, it's still the Hollywood of video games due to Quebec subsidizing workers' wages, but I feel really sorry for employees who were forced to relocate here from the USA.GONNAFISTYA wrote:Sorry I missed this.ToxicBug wrote:GONNAFISTYA, how do you like Montreal?
I'm liking Montreal more than I liked it when I lived here in 2008...and it's 10 billion times better than the prospect of living in Bulgaria, which is why I came here last year...but it's still not my favorite place.

Cutting emergency response times in Rio de Janeiro by 30 percent? Reducing pollution in San Francisco’s Bay Area? Eliminating traffic congestion in Lyon, France?
Those are all things you can do … if you make your city smarter.
IBM calls it Intelligent Operations Center (IOC), and in the past three years has led over 2,000 projects to “monitor, measure, and manage city services such as water systems, public safety, transportation, hospitals, electricity grids, and buildings.”
This thread is now 6 pages and they're even analysing the fucking freckles on a character's bald head for clues. Last post made today.GONNAFISTYA wrote:lol
Some people are really "investigating" every single detail of the demo.
