Truthland
Re: Truthland
Furthermore, does it not bother you that the entire industry is hell-bent on juicing every last drop of energy from oil and gas instead of diverting its energy to developing stuff like solar power? The Sun gives us enough energy in a day to power everything we do on this planet like a thousand times over. Why the fuck are we wasting fucking time on gas and oil? Oh I know, because greedy cunts love money.
Re: Truthland
Actually I was referring to the forum members in general. I've never seen one person stop in the middle of a thread and admit he has changed his mind, regardless of the topic...mrd wrote:Well he's called people who are against fracking stubborn bastards.
Re: Truthland
Fair enough. So, what is your stance then?

Re: Truthland
Oh I'm fully aware that solar panels as they exist essentially suck donkey nuts, cost tons to maintain and probably take decades in order to pay themselves off in most cases. However, my point is mainly that there is a giant fucking star in the sky giving us everything we need, so why are we not working towards capturing some of that? Would it not be more prudent to do this and leave our environment as intact as possible? Sure, it's a pipe-dream. Money-grubbing CEOs don't give half a shit about the future or innovation, frankly.

There isn't really much else to say, mang.
Re: Truthland
youre just figuring this out now?
Re: Truthland
that's not true. i once tried manfully to sympathise with gramps over his gun ownership, but as the thread progressed it became clear to me that my qualified support was unwarranted due to gramps being a platinum 5-star major league fruitcakexer0s wrote:Actually I was referring to the forum members in general. He still won't come out and say which side he's on. He's started a thread about it, hinted at it, but never actually said it.
methinks he's embarrassed and doesn't want to be called a moron.
