So, interesting specs capable of running Unreal 4 well and Sleeping Dogs (fuck you GKY). Supercharged PC with a separate processing unit for downloading which makes sense, far too much in the way of social networking.

Consensus - failure

Watch Dogs.
Not having the actual console present makes me suspicious. Like, PS3 Killzone video suspicious. Apart from that, the usual. Better specs, supreme social capabilities, epic stuff you can do with friends all over the world etc. Oh and Facebook, cos everything needs Facebook.

the Person of Interest factor in Watch Dogs is getting larger with every piece of footage they release btw.

oh, and ditch the // before all the gamemessages; it's very Assassin's Creed and it didn't work too well there either.

That looks awesome.
The UI does indeed remind a lot of Assassin's Creed, but for me mostly because of the rectangles around different bits of on-screen text.

Indeed looks amazing, both in terms of graphics and gameplay.

Forget about GTAV, this is what I want to play.

Person Of Interest is a large inspiration for the game, but only on an aesthetic level as it reinforces the free-roaming "vigilante" gameplay. If you wanted to, I'm quite confident you could play the entire game as "the man in the suit" but then you'd miss out on all the other cool stuff.

With both the next-gen Xbox being rumored and the PS4 to be equipped with 8GB's of RAM, I'm guessing the implications for PC gaming will be looking up. Due to the available memory, both systems will most likely be running 64-bit OS's, and hopefully games developed on consoles, then ported over to PC will finally take advantage of the extra resources that the PC has had available for years.

Maybe I'm looking at this from the wrong perspective and I'm missing something, but I see this as a huge step forward.

I read in Edge sony are encouraging devs by opening up all the tool kits whereas MS are forcing the nerds to stay within theirs.

I might have to rethink my next console. glee.
