Then you should also know that It's not only about the technological advancement, its the story of a civilisation and its progression, with Americas being dumped on top of someone elses because they essentially wiped out another. We share the same history in essence because nothing Indian has contributed to modern society where as in Europe, Middle East, Africa has given everything from our art to law, religions, languages etc etc and we can follow the same progression if we travel to the other side of the planet to Japan / China and its influences. All this was made possible over time, a progression that wasn't possible in North America.

American Indian history stopped dead when Euros wanted genocide, pretty much wiped it out, that was the end of its advancement and the most they could leave was arrowheads and tribal systems that wasn't much more developed than what was in Europe 3000 years before. Nothing was ever integrated.

So North America does have a history, its just pretty shit because the variety is limited due to a lack of industry / development until the Euros turned up and decided to start again from scratch. Hence why compared to Europe, or even the most of the World, America has no history cos you killed it before it began.

Someone in America can't go *ahh this is when they discovered glass / optics or whatnot because no one ever did, nor can they say they changed castle designs in X century and how it benefited the towns that were growing around them.
