it's the 7th revision of the ipod. how is that strange?
Also, Apple doesn't call it that. They just call them iPods. so there's no marketing involved.
better than iPad 2 or iPad New Air or what have you.

Yes, obvious marketing bloat or trickery, however, I was surprised to discover late model Ipods have WiFi (read internet access)
and all in such a small package. I am just getting used to handling a tablet.
