Ya know, I read this and immediately thought about Geoff (I know, that's just wrong and scary). But in all seriousness, I'm not so sure this is a great idea. Lowering airfare prices to that extreme would ultimately allow any idiot, scumbag, and low-life to rome freely around the world. For lack of a better example, you'll start to see Geoff and his family all over the place and in your neighborhood. Tourism would skyrocket and the result would be trashy and devastating...(AFP) Irish no-frills airline Ryanair on Monday confirmed its board has approved plans to start flying low-cost transatlantic routes in the next five years.
Proposed transatlantic fares would start from as little as £10 ($14, 13.99 euros) one-way...
That's like the most ignorant reason why you'd be worried about this. People should travel, that's how some people become more enlightened, especially people of low economic status who aren't given opportunities to travel because of the outrageous costs.
The real problem is the quality of the flight and hidden costs that aren't being divulged until you board and realize it's going to cost 200$ per bag of luggage.
