I'm always changing my mind during remodeling jobs etc so contractors don't usually make me happy... Left to do it myself...

Rebuild the wall with genie clips and some ROXUL insulation.

Maybe double layer the drywall with Green Glue in between.

Yeah what may suck though is the out side room is partially below living room so I'm thinking the sound is coming through in corner top... Which means I'll have to also wall over the nice cedar ceiling I made. Which was a pain in the ass to do.. Lol kids are stoopid..

Just save the cedar and put it back up over whatever soundproofing you do.

Strange how Geoff went from getting a 5k kit to one that costs 900 bucks.

Kind of like when he had a 20k budget for a new PC, but just ended up fixing his broken one.

Didn't get the $5k drum kit, got the $900 one instead.

Didn't get the BMW or the Merc or the Audi. Got the Kia instead.

Didn't get the Q5 or the Cayanne or the Range Rover. Got the minivan instead.

Rich people make the weirdest choices :olo:

Speaking of Range Rovers, my wife is wanting an Evoque. I think I prefer the Sport, but I'm sure we'll end up with the Evoque...

1 bass. 3 rack toms, two floor, pork pie snare, ziljian K's all the way around (which BTW we're more than $1k alone). Cobra double kicker... Etc...
