Andromeda, Farscape and Babylon 5... I really couldn't get into them . Andromeda I tried very hard to n all, cos it was Gene Roddenberry innit ?. I think the Farscape cast eventually ended up on Stargate too, if I remember. Even the Doc from Voyager makes a few appearances. Firefly pretty much represented the death of this kind of Sci Fi genre, massive shame seeing as it ruled as a good formula since the original Star Trek.

With Stargate though I especially liked the episodes where they took the piss outta themselves. Like this one -

You lot catch SG:Universe n all ?, completely different approach but I was getting into it. They kept the characters way too shadey though.

Whisk - I think the other Stargate film was better n all, Continuum. It wasn't great but kept a better tone with the episodes.

I have heard but never watched Firefly and I have Stargate Continuum somewhere on my PC... checking ... so I better watch it.

Ooops, I searched the PC with *Stargate* and found 50 Stargate Universe episodes (shitty avi format so they must be old)

With Babylon 5, Farscape and Andromeda I think it pushed it too far. Andromeda especially, the premise was brilliant but it went way over the top.

I felt Andromeda and farscape were totally worth it, lol i cant remember any of the stories but i clearly remember the feelings of enjoyment!

About sci fi shows; i recently bingewatched season 1 of something called The Expanse and found it increasingly awesome, actually. It's sort of Battlestar Galactica meets Event Horizon with a little bit of Firefly in the mix

They're making a season 2, but it's due somewhere in 2017
