Pearce is great.
One of my all-time favourites has him starring as well, Memento.
"You make up your own truth" doesn't make for a best line by itself, it has to be considered in context of the whole film.

There's an easter egg-feature on the DVD to make it play in "cronologically correct" order.

I came up with the line because the whole context, as it seems to me, has a simmilarity to the actual events that are taking place, in a way. The rise of the alt-right, muslimic countries in turbo-boiling over-mode, globalization, etc. The last 20 years, maybe 15, have seen so much development, change, that we as the people simply have problems keeping up with them. In a way, it is simmilar to Pearce's problems in Memento. While his world lasts for 5 minutes (his memory), our "normal" world changes in incrementally shorter intervals.

Guy Pearce is great. Heavily underutilized in Hollywood. At least for good roles...
