Cancelled my data plan mid July, got that unlimited Pfizer data now.

Sore arm both times, nothing to complain about. The missus got full on fever spikes though.

40-50 years old
Moderna:
second shot last monday, Aug. 9th.
Was pretty sick on tuesday and wednesday. Slight fever, heavy shivers, head- and bodyache. Pretty much immobilized like during your regular good infection with the influenca.
Symptoms have vanished completely by today, thursday.

Fully vaccinated since June. Pfizer for both shots. Sore arm both times, second time a bit more sore than the first. No big deal, ready for my next pandemic.

It will be a pandemic of the unvaccinated. I can't say I have much sympathy for the covidiots. It's just a shame so many people who can't get the vaccine will be taken out with them. :(

It’s hard to feel sympathy for them, although I do try to tell myself that many of them are victims of disinformation…
Sympathy for those needing cancer ops, knee replacements etc that have/will suffer the knock-on effects of people being unnecessarily hospitalised is rather easier.

Fully vaxxed for a while now, Pfizer both times. Sore arm both times, nowhere near as noticeable second time.

Before they changed the sensitivity of the app over here, I got pinged three times, which is a pain in the ass when you're a freelancer.
Thankfully, the people I'm working for at the moment generously paid me, as I was still able to do a lot of work from home.

It's weird.
I'm freelancing for a big, infamous media company, whose views are pretty much the exact opposite to my own (and they often broadcast stuff verging on antivax), but they're probably the best employer I've ever had.

I was seriously conflicted about taking the work. But then again, I'm not responsible for anything editorial, so I swallowed my pride and just went for it.

The company name rhymes with "Blues Thorpe".

LOL good thing you're vaxxed, you're gonna need it working at that place....

Also I'd say "verging on" is a generous choice of words. :smirk:

They're not quite as blatant in the UK as in the US. They sail as close to the wind as they can without going full Marjory Taylor Greene.

And for how "anti-woke" they are (and blatantly anti-immigrant), there's a surprising number of people of colour and LGBTQ folks working there.

Got the Pfizer double tap back in April. No more side effects than my flu shot. Recently questioning the wisdom of this Loki t-shirt purchase...

So now they’re saying to get a booster 8 months after your second shot. So I guess I’ll be getting my third in December…

Israel is already giving people 3rd shots. Kind of sad, actually, considering the bigger part of the world is still waiting for their first.

Oh no! Criticism on Israel! Must be an antisemite!

Fully vaccinated as of March 2021.

Lucky too, I had cancer - surgery in August of 2019, 8 weeks of radiation therapy in 2020 that ended literally right as the shit hit fan with COVID. So didn't have to spend any time in the hospital when things were a shitshow. Worked from home after that, which let me recover from the radiation much easier.

Doing well, healthy and in the best shape I've been in since my 20s before my neck surgery. There's a silver lining to recovering from cancer - it can really motivate you to control every aspect of your health that you can. I was active before getting diagnosed, after the 2 years or so roller coaster I really went all in on my health and fitness.
