if you can't tell the difference from one sentence to the next without capitilized words and/or this annoys you... you should really get hooked on phonics. however, if you can tell the difference, you can read it understandably and whatnot... who cares on the internet then?

I hardly notice no capitalization. I notice word misuse much more often then lack of capitalization

I used to be really lazy when it came to typing a post; then I realized that I could be using my forum activity to keep my skills sharp. Plus it's just easier to read.

Exactly. So it's not a big deal either way, as long as it's still readable.

I was just about to comment on the title when you did that post edit Major Pees.

Capitalization used to bug me years ago, but as soon as I realized it wasn't a passing phase, I got over it. What DOES bug me is punctuation (or lack thereof) and commonly misspelled words. If people actually bothered to stay awake during 8th grade English, maybe it would be as common sense to them as it is to me.

It took me much too long to realize that. :icon26:

This thread is from a guy that didn't even use capitalization in his username.

Oh the irony.

Everyone might hate my username, but at least it has an upper "P" to start out with.

there's an old guy i have to work with sometimes who bitches about my emails being all lower-case - but despite his own ability to hold down the shift key at regular intervals, his written communication skills are so fucking terrible that he often leads me to use all caps. old people, grammar, arse.

as long you can get your point across without it being really obvious which years of school you missed or what personality disorders you have, then it's all good.

Doesn't bother me at all. I tend to capitalize the first of each sentence out of habit from years of typing. Don't really care if anyone else does or not though.

To be honest I can care less if people use them or not. I use them to stay in practice. If I didn't use them then I'd feel to much like I geoff with his "f u i c u p hahaha" kinda crap.

Notice that I didn't cap his name. He's not worthy of a upper G.

Doesn’t bother me one bit, I'm not anal retentive on spelling, grammar or Capitalization. I'm not here to explain English to you, if I can understand what the hell you're saying then all is good. If I can't then I just move on. Life is too short to be worried about how others type.
