I always watch unless it's a friend of mine. No point in getting involved if you don't know the reason shit's happening or you know, someone looks like they're going to die.

Anyway, this is the problem with certain people when they cut. Sometimes you dont want to say anything becasue they'll get all pissy even though they cut...sometimes its not even worth the trouble. The guy on the cellphone told his wife or whoever that "its going to take a little while longer for the pizza [referring to the lady that cut]" This totally set off the fat lady.

The guy was an ex-con. In jail, people will fuck with you if they know you are a mark or a little bitch. The guy on the phone was making NO attempt to defend himself. If someone is looking to start something, you better be on your toes.

Looked for anything heavy and blunt to use as a weapon, then blindsided the big guy with a swift shot to the brainstem from behind.

Then proceed to run like hell in case it didn't work.

Still, though, 3 or 4 guys could have done something...pretty pathetic, but it happens all the time. It's like people get into some sort of state of shock when they see dramatic shit like that happen and just sort of freeze up..

I saw a girl get decked one by her fiance because she was in some guys face and her fiance decided to sucker punch the guy from behind, buddy ducked and he hit his fiance instead and knocked her out COLD. funny to watch too.

I'm assuming you are being sarcastic though. If not, at what point is a call to the police warranted? Or should all matters be handled by the parties involved - a bit of social Darwinism?

I'd have called the cops, then laughed my ass off as the guy got repeatedly clubbed and tasered if he fought back (I'm sure it would have taken a few cops to take care of him, unless they just shot him).

Of course, Kracus, you'd probably never have to rely on cops to save you from a horrible beating, because you are the kind of guy with those connections...but for the rest of the population, the police can be useful every now and then...

It depends on the situation and you don't know the situation unless you're involved so if you're not you stay out.

I'll watch people fight so long as they aren't killing each other. A street fight never lasts long, if you watch movies it's not like that in real life. In real life, swing a couple punches, wrestle for a minute or two and that's about it. I wouldn't call a cop for that.

However, if one guy pulls a knife or a gun or some other weapon thats when I'd jump in and I'd expect the cops to be called. Or if they fight for a couple minutes and it's obivous one guy is down and the other is still beating on him then I'd jump in and pull the guy off but I still wouldn't call the cops unless someone was very injured and even then I'd call for an ambulace.

Maybe if a guy was being mugged that'd be different too, I'd definitely call the cops in that situation. See it comes down to the situation and the reasons the fight is happening...

I dunno, me and you are two different people tnf. I bet you as a teacher, have you're own little rules and regulations you abide by even though they aren't written in a book when you're in an academic enviroment.

I don't know what you would call me in my circle but we basicly have our own rules we abide by as well. It's because of your enviroment and you play by the rules of the area you're in. Fights in my life happen, luckily rarely to me, but they happen and it's a work hazzard so to speak.

I've been in different circles in my life. Even in those circles, there was an obvious difference between 'two guys fighting' (no police call) and some poor bastard getting completely beaten down by a fucking giant for no real reason (call the police).

You called them rats for calling the police in this situation, hence the question I asked you.

There must be a lot of hazards at the call center...many more than you'd find at an inner-city high school....so I guess by work hazard you are probably referring to your other 'job.'
