toxic might not know what an SLR is but he can tell a good picture from a sloppy one. toxic's picture is a lot better IMO even though the subject matter isnt very contrasting for black and white.

i've been reading some national geographic books on photography. aside from focusing issues, i think the branch picture suffers from a problem they talk about and thats that there needs to be something that keeps your eyes in the frame of the picture. it doesnt feel comfortable at all. what part of this am i suppose to relax at and see?

Not all pictures should have a focus point, doctor photo. There are many purposes for a picture and one is to bring back a feeling or memory. This I shot because the contrast on the polarized sky with a green foreground had a strong feeling of the Lakeland’s in the UK. You idiot
