no doubt it is taken to another level across the pond, but I was just saying to juggs that there are plenty of places where people go bat shit insane over here, a la Qwest,Arrowhead,RFK, etc. a co-worker of mine is a season tix holder to the hawks and usually his voice is shot until tuesday after a game.Chupacabra wrote:

a scene like fenerbach would never happen in the states though, they practically strip search you on the way in to the venue. land of the free indeed.

Re: EURO 2008
i actually think that college football fans (especially in the deep south) are extremely passionate about their sport. people have different ways of expressing that.
anyway, enough of that. there's a big game on today...spain v. italy.

We lose if we don't start strong as well. '88 was a fluke.Survivor wrote:Oh come on guys, you know we always lose if we start strong.

Well I'm predicting 1-0 to Germany but I'm hoping Turkey wins. I blame Shitsplash.

What a great first half. It has pretty much been all Turkey. 1-1 after 45.

Re: EURO 2008
am I the only moron who thinks spain vs russia will be the actual decider of the 2008 euro cup?

Re: EURO 2008
if youre saying that the winner of russia and spain will win against either turkey or germany, that's fine, but if youre saying that its a for sure thing and that there's nothing to really decide in the final, then yes, youre probabyl the only one that thinks that.
