Entirely true...but we both know that if Ryan got the upper hand that our resident douchebag Randian (ie. brainless twat) would be posting all about it.
Re: The Election Thread

Re: The Election Thread
The “six studies” that Romney cites in defense of his tax plan are actually 3 blog posts, 2 right-wing reports and 1 op-ed.
Lol?..
Lol?..

No debate comments? I thought it felt like the content was just a repeat of the same shit they said last time. But the moderation was a bit better and Obama was a lot more lively. I'd say Obama won, but I don't think that really means anything. I don't see how any undecided voters would be swayed after last night.

Re: The Election Thread
Obama mopped the floor with Romney's lying, stupid, smarmy, pompous ass. Full disclosure here: I still think they're both assclowns and I'm voting for Ron Paul. But, Romney just bugs the shit out of me and he's a lying sack of shit.bitWISE wrote:No debate comments? I thought it felt like the content was just a repeat of the same shit they said last time. I saw both of them do the standard "That's a good question, and I'ma let you finish, but I've got the best qualifications of all time" thing. But Obama actually answered a question once in a while. Can't say I saw Romney do the same, at least not an answer that didn't make him look like a desperate, flailing dipshit.
If Obama can get through the next debate without mentioning his grandmother, I'll be happy. If Romney gets through it without lying through his teeth or directly contradicting a previous position, I'll shit bricks.

Re: The Election Thread
Good read about a president who's a Nobel Peace Prize winner and a war criminal:
http://socialistworker.org/2012/10/23/w ... as-antiwarObama may have abandoned Bush's rhetoric but not his substance. If there is an Obama Doctrine, it's the military version of the Five-Second Rule: If you bomb a country really quickly, it doesn't count. This is a logical development for an administration trying to pursue U.S. domination (excuse me, project U.S. power) in the face of military defeats, economic meltdown, and antiwar sentiment at home and abroad.

Re: The Election Thread
Oh ffs, that Churchill bust thing is such bullshit.
Whiny fucking faggots.
http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2012/07/ ... -churchillNow, normally we wouldn’t address a rumor that’s so patently false, but just this morning the Washington Post’s Charles Krauthammer repeated this ridiculous claim in his column. He said President Obama “started his Presidency by returning to the British Embassy the bust of Winston Churchill that had graced the Oval Office.”
This is 100% false. The bust still in the White House. In the Residence. Outside the Treaty Room.
News outlets have debunked this claim time and again. First, back in 2010 the National Journal reported that “the Churchill bust was relocated to a prominent spot in the residence to make room for Abraham Lincoln, a figure from whom the first African-American occupant of the Oval Office might well draw inspiration in difficult times.” And just in case anyone forgot, just last year the AP reported that President Obama “replaced the Oval Office fixture with a bust of one of his American heroes, President Abraham Lincoln, and moved the Churchill bust to the White House residence.”
Whiny fucking faggots.

They hate black ppl...
Re: The Election Thread
Aside from the thoroughly debunked Churchill thing, that whole list is complete and utter bullshit.
My eyes rolled especially at the bit where the author thinks the Obama administration has been too hard on BP in the aftermath of the catastrophic oilspill they caused, then lied about for a week or two. Wow. Really? ...i don't know what to say.
And boohoo, the Obama administration made us feel like we're not the specialest partners because Obama told the French that they were. Because that's not just some polite standard line that is rolled out every single time a foreign leader allied to the US comes over for a visit. And the president said English embassy instead of British embassy once, burn the witch! And he sent Gordon Brown home with 25 DVD's, ye gods what a disasterous display of diplomatic ineptitude!
Ffs. I'm not surprised the author is a Fox News contributer, seems like he's been blessed with just the right kind of stupid.
