It’ll Only Cost You $20,000 To Get Horrifically Murdered In An Upcoming ‘Game Of Thrones’ Book

I think we should all chip in and put Geoff in the book. A simple Westeros man who was digging an above-ground ditch gets paid a visit by Ramsay Bolton.

Another great episode last night. I loved the shots of the wall looking down going from one side to the other. Really cool.

I just wish they would have killed off the one girl instead of the other girl. And they should have killed the last dude. That'll come back to bite them...

but why hang people from the side of the wall to shoot arrows straight down when you could just drop rocks? the giants were major pimps tho. definitely my favorite part of the episode.

I was talking about the actually filming shots (CGI) of the wall looking down and going from side to side. How they showed the action taking place on both sides of the wall and atop...

But yeah, I liked the hanging over the side too...

The King's Landing battle benefitted from having drunken Cersei's fearful ramblings both set a dark tone, whilst providing comic relief. Here it was just killing, screaming, killing and screaming, ooh that was cool, killing and screaming, killing, screaming, another named character dies, killing, screaming, killing, screaming, killing... A bit singular in tone, you might say.

Oh come on, what they've been building up to this moment for a season and a half. I thought it was brilliant. It's also a pretty important moment in the bigger story arch.
I'm glad they took an entire episode to show just this battle, and not have it over in a 15 minute suggestion that something big has happened. If it wasn't for the slightly lower quality CGI, this wouldn't compare bad to LotR battle scenes.

I kinda agree with Mephis.. too much time was spent on that battle... especially since we are all focused on the midget situation, In a typical GoT fashion, when something big is going on they never EVER EVER continue with the same story on the very next episode, they always allow some blue ballin to settle in between. So what they do? they put forth a long awaited battle (surely it cost a pretty penny) but it all felt like filler because we are emotionally invested on the midget story line ATM.

So like children, even though we got a more expensive toy for our birthday, we still didn't give a shit cause we didn't get the toy we really wanted...that's how this last episode felt like.

Not sure how to say it, but it feels lie they got their sequence of events all fucked up in these last few episodes. This show is frustrating to follow.

Well, taking the preview for next week's episode into consideration, I think they made the right move. Because it looks like there's going to be a lot going on both with the imp and with the Crows/Wildlings. This was the only way they could make the finale wrap everything up all at once...

You're such a whiny little pussy. I think you should stop watching television altogether.

The cliffhangers is kind of the nature of the books as well. Each chapter follows a character so it continually jumps from character to character and every chapter pretty much ends with a cliffhanger.

But don't worry, they'll get back to the imp next week.
