hehe it certainly was when i attempted 260lbs on the clean and jerk... got under it but couldn't get out of the hole

was looking at the next couple weeks, and since my percentages went up with the new pr's, omfg this is going to suck.
so far in my new personal gym, i have the lifting platform, squat stand, and barbell. with any luck my plates will be here tomorrow and i can start to really train!

dunno about that... the burpees would have kicked me all over the place. plus putting that kind of strain on my wrist (with burpees and the way i do them) would have probably reinjured it and that is no good. Also that wod would have f'ed me up enough to not be able to hit todays workout which I am posting for reference:

I only managed 103, but I snatched 60kg for the first time mid WOD and then other 2 times. I need to work on getting under the bar with my snatches; I basically muscled them up which is an issue. Tekkers are key and I am sadly lacking. Something to work on, but I doubt we will see snatches again in the rest of the open WODs.

You just needed to time the burpees; 1 every 4 seconds or so for your lifting ability. I did slower than that to conserve energy so I could try and get the 60kg bar up

All my weights are here, so I won't be taking any videos for a while. did my first workout with them today and like i predicted, kilos are an ass kicker. Don't know why, but it is just harder to lift than using pounds. maybe it's all in my head right now as I'm not 100% fluent in kilos i.e. i know what X amount of weight looks like and feels like in pounds, just not there yet with kilos but that's why i got the kilo set. WORLD STANDARD!

Will get pictures of my little setup soon.
The Pendlay Nexgen bearing bar is f'ing awesome, it's everything you would want out of a true weightlifting bar. feels great.
