Only issue I have is the occasional CTD, mainly when fast travelling from one location to another. Actually, a dead dragon skeleton kept following me around too, which was quite creepy.

Yes, but fixes roll out quicker and the community can make their own workarounds in the mean time.

Mods FTW, BTW.

Skyrim named "Most played game of the year". Quite an achievement, especially considering it beat out even MW3. Although I suspect this survey is only relevant for games released this year. Given how much time people pour in to MMOs, I can't see any game beating WoW considering the number of active subscribers and how much time they each play for over an entire year.

Figured out a way, accidentally, to get two followers with you everywhere you go.

In the quest where you meet Mercer Frey (theives guild boss) up at the snow veil sanctum to go look for that lady whose name starts with a K I think - meet with Mercer, talk to him and he will begin walking towards the door to the dungeon (he has to open it). Before he does, fast travel to another location in the game and when you get there you'll not only hvave your normal follower (if one is with you) you'll also have Mercer Frey. He will follow you everywhere you go and isn't a bad guy to have in combat with you along with whoever else you have.

Yeah, that's absolutely fucking amazing. So how does the sandbox editor work? How would the guy have synched up the singing and more impressively, got all those dance moves so precise and well executed and got all the camera angles and panning? I presume it must be highly skilled and painstaking work to do it? The dancing looks like it would have had to be motion captured (obviously it wasn't) it looks so realistic.

How's everyone doing on this? I'm up to level 29. Unbelievably for me it hasn't lost it's luster. I'm doing a battle Mage, so it stays pretty interesting combining spells and weapons with heavy armor. Anyone else still goin at it?

I couldn't get the swing of a battle mage. The classic warrior route has worked well so far, but I made the mistake of maxing out Smithing early on, which made things a bit challenging for a while there. Then I made legendary ebony armor and now I'm nearly unkillable. Next step is daedric shit. Once I'm fully decked out, I have a feeling I'll either make a new character or just up the difficulty.

being that i always choose the grunt option in games like these, I opted to be a full on Gandalf on this game just for the hell of it. I'm level 39. It's pretty cool, I hardly ever get involved into fights up close and personal, as I have my conjurations do my dirty work, or I simply bombard the shit out of everything with expert level fireball destruction. But I did kinda missed out on the 'in your face' fighting, which seems pretty awesome. Anyway, my magica is something like 400 while health and stamina is pretty much unchanged from what they start you off with, and oh boy do I have to keep my distance! It does seem that I am a little bit burned out on it, so i don't spend as much time on it as I used to, but I do still enjoy it since there is a story to be followed.

But yeah overall , nothing really seems like a challenge anymore at this level.

Sounds like it's time to go at war with the cities.

Even at level 10 things werent much of a challenge. I'm sure it's the same on the consoles but on the PC version I just give the AI an aneurysm by jumping off ledges then either jumping on to a rock they can't get at, or jumping over a barrel.

I can usually get the NPCs pacing back and forth in a spot as I shoot them with arrows from on top of a rock. Easy. Even glitched out the first damn dragon so it just hung out on the ground spewing fire at... nothing as I launched arrows at it from a tower.

^Funny, I played the game since launch on PC and didn't run into any of those bugs. People must have really shitty computers.

Yeah, I haven't seen any of those bugs, either. Just the low-res textures, which I modded.
