Is this clusterfuck of DLC what the last few months have been spent on?

I think if you want everything in that list, you need to buy two different editions of the game, a season pass and you have to live in Australia.

I've really got no interest in this game. You know it's going to play just like every other Ubi "open world" game, with an excessive focus on collectables and upgrades. It's Assassin's Creed with a smartphone, Far Cry 3 without the jungle.
Those Canadians only know how to make one kind of game.

Maybe GFY quit the forum because he didn't want to face the blowback from this shitpile of a game he hyped?

I have this game pre-ordered for something silly like £5.92 - I was expecting it to be a mistake and them to remove it, but so far nothing...

According to this information the WD map is tiny compared to GTA 5

http://www.trustedreviews.com/news/watc ... d-to-gta-5

I've also watched some MP footage and the game looks like all of the GTA5 footage I've seen, minus the blue cell phone beams.

I might DL on a steam special.

I don't understand. With an error margin of 10 - 20 percent, if biased in favor of Watch Dogs, the Watch Dogs map seems to be pretty much the same size as GTA 5, except for the fact that GTA 5's map size was artificially inflated by slapping a huge empty green lump on top of it.

Besides, comparing map sizes is like dick comparison. It's no matter how large it is. It's what you do with it that matters.

I play a lot of GTA V and I can tell by one of the "let's play" vids I've seen that the watchdogs map looks about as big as GTA V if not a bit smaller. It's far more detailed however when comparing both single player games but you also have to consider the one I saw was being played on PS4, a next gen console. The driving physics look disappointing, Oh you crashed into a concrete wall? Just go ahead and drive away.

The early previews made the game look like it was a more living / breathing world where you were a character that could hide in that world but most of the vids seem to show more of a GTA V game with hacking where the NPC's aren't any more relevant than the zombies wandering in GTA V. I may wait for this one to be discounted before buying.

The cover system is a bit wonky. I keep getting stuck on cover trying to move around. And vehicle steering is off, too. It sticks to a relative straight line while driving and when I try to take a turn, sometimes it takes a moment before my car responds, making me oversteer way too much. It's going to take a while to get used to this....

Agreed. Vehicle damage looks pretty weak too unless you hit something at 200km/h. Game looks like ass during daytime but at night it's pfg. Fun game so far, much better than GTA.
