Got me some new active monitor speakers as a christmas present. Nubert nuPro A-200. They sound fantastic. A little bit heavy on the bass, but not muddy at all.
Connected via SPDIF to the usb audio interface.
You get a quality like Focal but for about half the price since Nubert only sell directly without distributors. Would link to their site but it's german only.
I could imagine the bigger brother, A-300, to be a real challenger to your classic amp & shelf-speakers hifi setup.

@Ferrao:
Nuberts are great. A friend of mine has a pair since some years. I'm planning to get myself two in near future, maybe the nuLine34...

I traveled to the 'big smoke' and stayed a night in a riverside hotel and went to see a lingerie exhibition,350 Years of Underwear and on that Wednesday night went to a stage/magic show production, The Illusionists. Some interesting acts and illusions as you'd imagine.

From the website - Information on the lingerie exhibition.
Queensland Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum, London (V&A) are revealing fashion’s secret history this summer with Undressed: 350 Years of Underwear in Fashion. The V&A holds one of the most important collections of historical and fashionable dress in the world.

Undressed: 350 Years of Underwear in Fashion features more than 80 highlights from this extensive collection, and is the first time many of these items have ever been on public display.

From the modesty of Queen Victoria’s drawers to the satin revolution of the Wonderbra................ exhibition is organised by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London

From the website - Information on The Illusionists
Featuring brand-new, world class Illusionists handpicked from across the globe, The Illusionists 1903 promises to transport the audience back to the golden age of magic, a time when conjurers were the true rock stars of the day. Showcasing the origins of some of the greatest and most dangerous illusions ever built, the show also unveils never-seen-before experiments drawn from a treasure trove of long-forgotten mysteries.

Going ice climbing for the first time this Saturday and I'm a little terrified... I probably shouldn't be watching videos like this:

Dawn Wall is daunting in terms of absolute difficulty, but it's relatively safe, solid granite, no falling rocks, secure bolts. Ice climbing is generally very easy to climb but can be quite dangerous. Ice is quite fragile, so lots of falling chunks and there is the risk of the entire structure collapsing.

I'm an ice climbing noob so we've hired guides for this trip to set up a top rope anchor to minimize some of those risks. Forecast seems cold enough to maintain a stable structure.

I've been doing a little work on my boat, getting it ready for summer.

another amplifier and battery,
