It happens - it was a freak accident and he should have never had plates stacked up behind him. I could show you a lot of videos of Olympic lifters breaking themselves.
In other news - I am doing an "engine monitoring month" where by I do my normal training 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday) have a rest day (Friday) then do some lifts and then 7 minutes of burpees. If my increases hold up per week, I will continue past the 4 week plan.
Standards are; 7 minutes of burpees with both hand touching a target 6" above your head. Both hand must touch at the same time. Chest and thighs must touch the floor every time you go to the floor.
I will post my scores after 1 month of doing it for every week so you can see my progression, because I know you all follow with baited breath

3 mins max rep back squats - 57 @ 40kg = 2280kg output (5016lbs). My form goes a little towards the end but I put that down to the fact I am wearing running shoes instead of lifters. Easily over 60 next time with my lifters on (when I get them....)

Looks like you're going too far into the squat. Not good for your knees. I've also been told looking upward helps with form.
