Out of pure curiosity, can someone point me in the direction of some comedians that are the conservative/Republican equivalents of people like Trevor Noah/Jon Stewart or John Oliver, who discuss the news in a humorous way but from a conservative point of view? I understand the people I mentioned earlier are considered to be mostly progressive/leftist, even though I feel they'll kick Democrats just as hard as Republicans.

General MO seems to be: Dems use comedians, Rep uses angry rants on a flag backdrop.

That's the impression I get as well but I'm genuinely wondering if that's my own leftist bias or just the plain simple truth. And if it's the unbiased truth, then is it my own bias to think that conservatives/republicans severely lack the skill to put things in perspective or is that just fact as well? And if that is the truth, then aren't conservatives poor candidates for positions of any political power?

The only show that comes to mind would be The Opposition with Jordan Klepper, the former Daily Show contributor. It kinda feels like a new take on the Colbert Report. Soo, it's satire. His coverage on Puerto Rico was pretty decent.

Bill Burr has a podcast. Never listened to it, just clips here and there. I think he was a Trump guy.

If you work at the CDC, you can't say the following words:

evidence-based
science-based
vulnerable
entitlement
diversity
transgender
fetus

You can, however, still say "Orwellian". At least for now.

President Donald Drumpf’s transition team on Sunday demanded that Special Counsel Robert Mueller return “tens of thousands” of emails that were sent and received on government accounts before the 45th president took office.

A “source close to Trump’s transition told Axios on Sunday that the team plans to send a letter to Mueller this week demanding the return of emails that were reportedly obtained by the Special Counsel’s Office.

*In the letter, the transition officials plan to say they will promise to return the emails to Mueller after “privilege” documents are redacted, according to Axios.

In a letter to Congress on Sunday, attorneys for the president argued that some of the emails should have been shielded by attorney-client privilege and other privileges.

A spokesperson for Mueller’s office defended the way the emails were obtained in a statement over the weekend.

“When we have obtained emails in the course of our ongoing criminal investigation, we have secured either the account owner’s consent or appropriate criminal process,” spokesperson Peter Carr said.
