Yeah, it's whatever, I'm not saying I support or believe the guy, just that he won the debate. The truth is meaningless in politics as it is in law, these things are won by the person who argues the best. If you stick to the truth, your slant better make it more palatable than the other person's lies, otherwise you deserve to lose.bitWISE wrote: It is easy to win when you say things without substance. When you don't have to define any of these wondrous plans to save the country. When you change your position to suit the audience you're speaking to. When you disregard facts and sell based on ideology and emotion. When you flat out lie over and over again. The only platform Romney is running on is the "I'm not Obama" platform and there is enough hatred and misinformation spread out there that it just might work for him. I'm still betting that it wont.
Fox News is by far the most watched news channel in America and yet somehow the "mainstream media" is always the "left wing liberals".

Re: The Election Thread
Hey sys0p once again thinks that it's everyone else that is angry. What a tool.
You talk about irony and don't even notice when your own posts are dripping with it. That, combined with your laughable opinion that there is actually someone home in xer0s head, indicates you sniff glue.
I can't wait for one of the most insulting posters to ever register at this board to talk about my insulting him.

You're so aggressive all the time. Constantly being on the defensive must be bloody tiring.

Yeah....almost as aggressive as someone who'd go through the trouble to hack the forum.
Just stop, you're looking more foolish with every attempt.

You're incredibly insecure. It's really draining.

Re: The Election Thread
So is going in this hypocritical circle with you.
Re: The Election Thread
Then perhaps you shouldn't have had a meltdown. You bring this on yourself. I'll retrieve the relevant post.
Re: The Election Thread
See my completely reasonable response to your question:
Get some happiness in your life man, and stop giving a fuck about other people's beliefs and views. The world isn't a playground for you to kick sand in the faces of anyone you disagree with.
Lose some fucking weight, get a hair transplant, lighten up and find a bloody girlfriend or something.
Now observe your completely unfounded meltdown that comprised 2/3rd's of your response.0psys wrote:I don't think any explanation will suffice for you. GKY, because you clearly have a palpable disliking of xer0s.
He writes well and has an obvious sense of the ironic, he also appears, unlike most people on this forum, to really appreciate how meaningless it all is. Those things do not combine to make a stupid man. Quite the opposite.
What was the point of such a stupid insult; are you that desperate? I know everyone else is the moron, or angry, or the one making a fool out of themselves, GKY, but sooner or later you're going to have to acknowledge the fact that the only person who really seems to spaz out like a two year old is you.GONNAFISTYA wrote:-content removed-
Obvious sense of the ironic? He appreciates the "meaningless of it all"? This coming from the person who spent the last decade obsessed with this forum getting banned multiple times and creating uncountable alt-nicks to keep posting here...all for something that is "meaningless"?
Whatever your shrink has been selling you clearly isn't working.

I wonder how many people here would agree with your assessment of xeros and his prose.0psys wrote:

Also I have to question your view on how seriously people take this place.

sys0p, trust me. You're on the wrong side of the discussion in this one.
Re: The Election Thread
Tagg Romney owns a voting machine company that will be counting the Ohio vote. I fear voter fraud on the part of the republicans is a real possibility, they've done it before in 2004 and got away with it. Also, more than half your country gets their information from a highly toxic & incredibly vile republican propaganda outlet which has gone out of it's way the last four years to convince their viewers that Obama is a fascist communist secret muslim.xer0s wrote:Why do y'all think Mitt will win?
Serious question. Spare me the "cause Americans are stoopid" response...
Oh, sorry, i guess that last one was a "cause at least 50% of Americans are stoopid" response. Ah well eh.

xer0s admits (albeit tentatively) that he gets all his info from Fox News. And he wonders why he is so misinformed on everything.
But hey...reality is what it is.

Re: The Election Thread
They're saying now it's about 40% Obama, 40% Romney, and 20% chance they could tie at 269 electoral votes. If that happens, the House votes for President, the Senate votes for Veep, and we have a Romney/Biden administration...

The most depressing thing here is that we're not talking about some insignificant backwater state in Africa but about the United friggin States of America.

Don't forget, this election is also about finally, once and for all, defining the various levels of rape and violence against women that is acceptable in a civilized society...because it was just so vague before.
