probably would've gotten a 9 out of 10 had you watched it properly.Pauly wrote:The Rocketeer was on TV today. Great movie.

nah... some movies a next to perfect. but i don't think, perfect moves exist, so it's only 9.5+JuggerNaut+ wrote:it obviously matters to the undecided.
you watched it with commercials. you would have gotten more out of it had you watched it at the theater or on a different format.Pauly wrote:eh?+JuggerNaut+ wrote:probably would've gotten a 9 out of 10 had you watched it properly.Pauly wrote:The Rocketeer was on TV today. Great movie.

perfect movies don't exist, this is true. should have been a 9.Pext wrote:nah... some movies a next to perfect. but i don't think, perfect moves exist, so it's only 9.5+JuggerNaut+ wrote:it obviously matters to the undecided.
I don't know if it was on the BBC (didn't watch it myself), but if it was, it wouldn't have had commercials.+JuggerNaut+ wrote:you watched it with commercials. you would have gotten more out of it had you watched it at the theater or on a different format.Pauly wrote:eh?+JuggerNaut+ wrote: probably would've gotten a 9 out of 10 had you watched it properly.
Yeah i got this on DVD the other day. Aside from the AWFUL packing of the SE compared to the normal version, I found the film really quite good. May watch it again later.Don Carlos wrote:Constantine - 8/10

ah, perhaps that is why he knew not of what i was speaking. i give a hearty laff at the folks in the US that do though.Mat Linnett wrote:I don't know if it was on the BBC (didn't watch it myself), but if it was, it wouldn't have had commercials.+JuggerNaut+ wrote:you watched it with commercials. you would have gotten more out of it had you watched it at the theater or on a different format.Pauly wrote: eh?
The BBC don't run commercials.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and even if it was on one of the other terrestrial channels, it wouldn't have been as bad as if it were on US TV.
You get a 2 minute ad break every 30 minutes during a movie most of the time on UK commercial stations.

The first two are excellent, I was impressed with Ashton Kutcher's directorial debut and by the lack of predictability in that movie. Man on Fire is rather gritty, Denzel does a great job of portraying a very flawed, tormented man.Pauly wrote:I am about to watch these for the first time:
The Butterfly Effect
Man of Fire
Million Dollar Baby
too bad he didnt direct it :lol:Nightshade wrote: I was impressed with Ashton Kutcher's directorial debut.
