Your flickr profile says you have a 17-40... do you really need wider? Might as well ditch it for the new 16-35 if you want more.
Or get an xpan
(even though that's only 28mm equiv.)

I've found out that wide-angle is fun, but difficult to shoot.....especially getting the horizon level lol.
Taken with a 12-24 on 1.5 crop, so 18mm fullframe equivalent

the 14 is $2k USD. I'd hate to think what it costs after the exchange rate. The widest lens I have is 17. The widest lens I use is 24.

12mm Voigtlander on the R-D1 dangling off the left shoulder, 24-105mm IS on the 5D dangling off the right shoulder slapping your butt cheek...

Do you guys know how much it would cost to recalibrate a canon lens out of waranty?
I think my 17-40 is getting soft or something else. I always have the impression shooting with a 70-200 or a 50mm is sharper than with the 17-40.
