I'm about 3 paragraphs in and I think I'm way too high right now to read that. Bookmarked.

That's positively scary, and very damning. I really do hope that this gathers momentum and helps oust Trump and his cronies.
But at the same time, I think there's also a danger of a return to Mccarthyism in response to Russia's meddling.
Something needs to be done to constrain their corrupting influence on the world stage, certainly, but I'd hate to see a return to witch-hunts ostracising and condemning those with even moderate left-wing ideals.

He was just allowed to pick his own Judge, one that he will face if it ever goes to trial.
He's in the clear.

Scary times for the world. We have an ignorant nut-job egomaniac with his finger on the nuke button and bullies the world. This can't end well.

No, it's far, far beyond the "oh lol" point. America is fucked. Fucked beyond repair. At least, while Trump and his cronies are in power. And it's not just Trump that worries me, it's the people surrounding him and the crooked bastards who abuse the situation.

Yup very much so. He's a puppet whose only goal is to impress people who he thinks are his friends. Meanwhile these same people indulge him whilst grossly taking advantage of the situation.
I mean look at this shit:

So he just blamed US for the Russian interference which by the way never happened.
He chose to believe the word of Putin over the boatloads of evidence gathered by his own intelligence agencies.
Meanwhile Putin stood there and openly admitted, at least his intentions to, interfering with 2016.
ffs

I suspect an over correcting swing to the left and many laws to be put in place to prevent this from happening again like after nixon and watergate.
Anyone who think this is the worst it’s been should watch the Ken Burns Vietnam documentary on netflix. It really makes you despair for humanity.

Why is anyone still taking this man seriously?
WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump sought to walk back his remarks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday by correcting a single word uttered during the 46-minute joint appearance in Helsinki.
When Trump said he couldn't see any reason why Russia "would" have been involved in the U.S. presidential election what he meant to say was "wouldn't."
"I said the word 'would' instead of 'wouldn't,'" Trump explained, speaking at the White House more than 24 hours after his news conference with Putin began drawing fire from allies and critics alike. "The sentence should have been, 'I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be Russia.'"
"I think that probably clarifies things pretty good by itself," Trump said.

Lol jesus christ.
Trump says he has no reason to believe Russia would meddle, standing next to Putin.
Next day back home he says he misspoke, meant to say he believes they did.
The very next day contradicts himself again during cabinet meeting, says he doesn't believe it.
Hours later the White House, via Sanders, denies that he denied believing it.
What a shitshow.
