There won't be a new 5D until later because they just released a very expensive 1Ds. With the 5Ds reputation, a relatively cheap, higher res variant will compete strongly against the 1Ds. I imagine the next 5D will come out in the fall at Photokina.
The new 200 is tempting... I wasn't aware until now they released it. They preannounced a few months ago.

The shopping cart picture is amazing Dave
Btw, I'm considering buying a 5D second hand. Good idea or should I wait till whenever the a new 5D will come out so the prices will drop?

Btw, Dave, did you have a 17-40? I compared mine with my mates 24-70 and I notice his pictures are more warmer where mines are more natural and blue-ish. Just wondering if that's normal.

The 5D has not been replaced because it's been the price/performance leader since it was introduced in 2005. If you have a reason to buy one now, I'd buy it.. If you don't have a reason other than you want one, I'd wait. I doubt the price will go down because it's already lost $900 off it's introduction price.
I sold my 17-40 to some guy in Spain.. I never used it, so I sold it. If your pics look different, it's probably white balance, picture style, processing preferences, RAW software or some other difference. The lens makes a difference too, but it can usually be made up for during processing unless you have a really great or really terrible lens.
