Actually, I've been visiting this site since the beginning. Never did get around to registering though, until last year. And the opportunity to get and share Quake LIVE beta invites just seemed like the perfect time to stop by and ask to get to participate in the next big thing

Btw, do i have to post a certain number of times before i can change my avatar or what?

9 years later: hi again! I registered back in 1999 (my original nick was MogWaEE and I can't seem to log back in: something to do with password resets), I posted a bit back then, but I mainly became an active passive lurker.
I visit these boards on a daily basis to keep me up to date with the latest on the interweb, and mainly for the numerous humerous posts. It's fun to see such strong characters and personalities so active in a single community, and it makes for a great reading everyday. So thanks to all of you for making things interestesting.

BTW, I almost forgot to mention why I reactivated (tried at least) my account: can anyone toss me a quake live invite?
