Summer or winter?
September or October are the only months I could take for a 4-5 weeks vacation. And I don't need Quebec in Jan, Feb or March for obvious reasons

.
Nothing to see around Winnipeg?

I bought an Echo and a bunch of TP Link shizzel. Really like it so far, even the wife uses it! Unlimited music for £3.99 a month? Win.

I wanted to put back my stock striping but in a good quality vinyl so I cut it freehand with Knifeless tape.

I've been thinking of doing the same with mine. Is the wrap material expensive? I've heard it's fairly cheap.

Cast vinyl isn't cheap, around £25 square metre trade. Anything cheaper will be polymeric or monomeric which won't conform to complex shape and colour and peel over time.

I'm using Avery gloss dark gray it ran me $525 for 5' x 75' roll which is more than enough to do the car with some to spare for mistakes since I'm a newb. You do want to stick with a premium brand, what DB said is correct you cheap out and it will lift over time or be impossible to install. A few things I learned so far.
Get small color samples and look at them in different light and on the different surfaces of the car. Many of the grays I loved in my office were not the same in the sun or on the different angles of the car.
Once you determine the color get a larger piece 1' x 5' or 2' x 5' to see how easy it is to apply. Different brands and colors have various, initial tack strength, conform-ability, memory, shrinkage, etc. One of the color shift vinyl colors I loved was so difficult to install I could not see myself doing the whole car and at $1100.00 for a 5 x 75' roll I was not ready to waste that much $$ while learning.

Get the air release stuff too, makes life much easier when applying.

Are you going to eventually wrap part/all of the door and front quarter panel?

What a blockhead
Anyhoo, I lost my grandma last week. Still feel kinda hollow about it, on one hand I'm glad I got to see her one last time and on the other hand I regret not being able to visit her more often. I also got hired by the Canadian Olympic Committee to design all of their material and social media pieces leading up to PyeongChang 2018. Best part is being able to work from home on my own schedule. Had to turn down another offer because this was too good to pass up.

Sorry about your grandma.
Canadian Olympic Team can rest assured they will be represented with the whole design in mind. Try not to paint Lara Croft in any of our graphics, but sneaking in a hidden Q3W in there would be cool.
