Cache ( french) 9/10

very well done film, great story, excellent acting.
Few scenes really caught me off guard.
Not your average film.

At first my gf and I were both getting weirded out - the way that scene was shot kinda has that effect. Then we started laughing. And then she burst out laughing uncontrollably and couldn't stop for the next 45 minutes.

I can still make her spit out her drink just by saying "Pillow Pants the Pussy Troll." :olo:

Malèna (Italian/french) Directed by Giuseppe Tornatore 10/10

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0213847/

I cant remember a film that made me more emotional and ultimately angry in all my life. IN the beginning....I loved this film and its characters..beautiful and charming in every way...a film that reminds you why you love film......yet by the end I wanted the protagonist dead.
I just wanted him dead. that fuck.
(I was so pissed off I wanted to throw the dvd into the backyard...)
Looking back now, after I've calmed down.
Its a must see.
Its a remarkable film.
I dont want to see it for a long time....but Im glad its in our library.

Jesus Camp - Holy Fucking Shit

definitely worth watching and very compelling, keep your eyes out for the part with disgraced minister Ted Haggert (Haggard?) he's the guy who got caught doing speed and banging the guy who got him the speed. Man is this guy ever an asshole and he treats the preacher kid like shit. :olo:

thanks for the heads up Zark

Apocalypto - 7/10

All those beautiful props and sceneries and exotic creepy stuff - and all Mell Gibson does is give us a typical action movie in a jungle setting.

I want to give it less than a seven, but i have to admit i enjoyed the whole thing in spite of the missed chance i thought it was.

Office Space, my buddy got it for me for my birthday on Thursday.

I've seen it before, I've just never actually owned it.

It's a classic. I must have seen it at least 10 times, but it's still just as good.
