Not sure why I just realized this but his campaign is a lot like religion. He is being followed like it's a matter of faith, overlooking constant lies and contradictions. Facts and alternate viewpoints are seen as an attack on and an oppression of their beliefs by non-believers. Evidence is to be ignored because faith is a virtue and cognitive dissonance abounds. And sadly, facts and evidence can't overcome faith on their own. They can only support self-discovery.

I suppose it depends if you believe atleast some of what governments tell you ?, there's security agencies across a few countries that have reports implicating Bin Laden and that Atef dude ?, bank transfers, telephone conversations etc. I'm inclined to believe that they were atleast pulling strings, but if you don't then yea, it could literally be anyone, as independent investigative methods hasn't brought any other names forward unless you believe the US government is responsible.

And yea, them knowing wether the attacks were coming or not I find plausible, it was actually my original view until I started arguing about holograms with retards, then I just come to the conclusion that it was a case of trying to cover up a fuck up.

After extensively (a while ago) reviewing what evidence there was, I came to the conclusion that the 'they knew and let it happen' theory was a possibility. I never made up my mind one way or the other because there just wasn't enough evidence to know for sure imo. After the recent salon article though, it really does look just that much more possible. Not sure I'm totally convinced yet because this could be as much about ass-covering as it could be about a deliberate plan to allow the attacks. I assume you've read it?

Actually hadn't seen that one, I'll read it. There's been such a massive avalanche of shit out there and has been for so long that I stopped bothering a while ago.

The one piece of evidence that's plain, objective fact that pushed me farthest towards believing that the government was aware was the change to the longstanding FAA order concerning hijacked aircraft. For the longest time if a hijacked aircraft was heading for a population center, it was to be shot down. Period. Then in (I believe it was) June 2001, it was changed to NOT shoot down planes in the same scenario. Then there was the question that Cheney was asked in a meeting on 9/11 after the first plane hit the Towers, which was basically "does the order still stand?"

There's a conspiracy nut posting on my FB wall as we speak...posting links about how governments control weather.

made a right cunt of myself at a halloween party over that story (unfunny catharsis follows)

had seen the haarp/sandy youtube clip earlier in the day - then drunkenly joined a conversation assuming that a joke was being told about it. the lass who was talking was a friend of a friend's girlfriend, and since nobody was laughing or responding as she finished, i bailed her out by making some crack about how weather control technology must be alien in origin. it got a big laugh from the group so i followed it up with a quick rant on conspiracy theorists. that got even more laughs, so having set up plenty of material i bounced it back to her - there were any number of angles she could've taken to keep the comedy ball rolling, but when i looked round she'd gone red in the face. she said in a really shrill voice that i'd fallen for the mass media line, then followed that up with some crap about my being a 'fake hippy' who needed to try mushrooms to expand my mind.

it was at this point that i should've politely apologised for getting the wrong end of the stick, but i was on at least my 3rd plastic skull full of ethanol-tasting punch and the dig about drugs from someone who was still in kindergarten back when i was ending speed binges by pouring homemade lsd into my fucking eyeballs wound me up - so she got 3-5 solid minutes on 9/11, the moon landings, alien technology and why anyone who believes in crystal healing (amethyst pendant and a drawstring bag that clearly contains another stone around her neck) was clearly a directionless flake who needed to try genuine hunger to 'expand their mind'. i hadn't actually finished, but it was at that moment that she decided to storm off and her boyfriend (who was laughing a laugh that was slowly turning into an "i'm not getting laid tonight" laugh) said that i might've overdone it.

felt briefly terrible for ruining someone's night, but then i remembered that her band suck and the lad (who's a bit of a player) would trade her in after a few months anyway, so bollocks to her. i love this tune, i'm going to show these people how awesome i am at dancing and definitely not crash into the stage.

Are you talking about someone having given an order for that to happen? I never heard of that, but you're correct about there being no planes in range. The question is why there weren't any in range.

Oh yea and the excuse for not having fighter planes intercepting is down to a series of factors, like they were deployed to defend the States from external threats / not inside the border, training exercises and a sheer lack of communication (following shadows for about an hour ?)

I have yet to see credible evidence of any type that supports the shoot-down theory for Flight 93. Lots of people talk about it as if it happened, but one look at the crash site should tell you different. Planes struck by missiles in mid-air don't make relatively compact holes in the ground with small debris fields. They end up scattered over very large stretches of ground because they break up. And here's a question: If there were no fighters airborne to shoot down the planes that hit the towers and the Pentagon, how did the government/conspirators suddenly manage to pull their shit together and get a stealth aircraft to shoot down 93?

I agree, lol, don't ask me to go finding quotes but they managed to identify all 4 corners of the plane within the crash site, plus you need to consider that it done a nose dive into marshland, seen enough shows and still remember lockerbie enough to remember what a mid air explosion would look like :/. Was jus saying what Bush said, in what his initial thought was. Theorists would have you believe the pilot was bringing home a stricken bird after being hit by a missile, with the pilot trying to maintain control as it loses a wing/engine/wheel in true hot shots fashion, they tried getting over this hurdle by saying it was a missile that hit the ground at 1st. I know it sounds like a shit arguement n all but I find it valid, in why would they feel the need to lie when flight 93 was more than justified for a shoot down order ?, they could admit that and still maintain credibility like, they don't have reason to lie.
