Hence it being predictable, yet they show his being alive as if it's some "oh my gosh! he's still alive! huzzah!" moment.

We don't know what orders she gave Brianne, it might yet prove to be a cunning plan...

And as for the Stark boys being alive, i don't know how you figure that was a surprise ending. It wasn't and i dídn't take it as such and neither should you - it was always clear they were still alive and it was the farm boys who got toasted. The only surprise was that they doubled back to Winterfell, which is probably not a bad idea.

PS Starting to really dislike the nurse and Rob scenes now though :E

PSS clever girl Arya, clever girl... :smirk:

PSSS it was a bit of a weak episode, but it was no worse than S02E03. In fact, that was a lot worse. At least this one had a fair dose of amusing Imp scenes.

Yeah that was good stuff :)

Also the scene between the imp and the eunoch:

"The such and such worship a goddess of fertility with sixteen teets..."
"We should set sail there immediately!"

Now that I think about it, it's possible she had Brianne take him away in fear of the Northerners raiding his cell and executing him, thus ending the Starks' leverage. Wonder where she's taking him though.

The scene between Stannis and Davos had some gems too, but Stannis is too much of a boring tit to even break a smirk.

Now that is what seemed obvious to me. If she hadn't interfered, the other men would've killed the Kingslayer that night. I'm thinking Brienne (not "Brianne" btw) might be taking him to King's Landing to trade him for Sansa and Arya. They still don't know Arya is actually in Harrenhal.

Couldn't go wrong with that one. Turns out the youngest girls pictured are aged 16, which is fully legal here in the Netherlands :smirk:

whoa they really upped the cunt quota in that ep <3

sure, it was 'filler' - but every story needs transitions, where the drama slackens off, in order to prepare for what (i hope) will be a balls-tighteningly awesome season finale

interesting to see how that whole thing between rob stark and the hottie nurse plays out re his arranged marriage to the daughter of that repulsive bridge guy

The show is going to go for how many books long? Could wait a while to see that resolve.

The whole "A song of Ice and Fire" series of books is 7 volumes of which the first 5 are written now. If Game of Thrones keeps going as strong as it is, they could well make episodes for each book. The creators (D.B. Weiss and the other dude) have already said that the third book contains too many events to cover in a single season of Game of Thrones, so that's probably good for one and a half or maybe even two seasons.

Daenerys is immature, impulsive, and impatient. Emilia Clarke is playing her perfectly.

Yep, this seems the right place to discuss female eye brow hair removal;

All you chicks visiting these boards  Let it grow out, I say. Show me that natural shit.
Don't groom eyebrow hairs, they're there for a reason, namely to show emotion.
