Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
Here are a couple I took this year. I seem to be missing that razor sharp focus but they were hand held and the wind was blowing around too...

Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
Whisky, that is gorgeous. Must've been one of those life-affirming type moments.
DM, overexposed, but that moose is a beast. I really like your last one. With a little photoshop fidgeting, that could really be a great shot.
Rlucky. Did you ever upgrade? I remember your last post where you talked about it, but thought you were doing fine. That dirtbike shot is really fantastic.
edit: Where's Daev been?

I don't know shit about cameras, I just like to take pictures. The Moose is overexposed in all likelyhood because it was taken from inside the car. I'll have the SLR pics back shortly and will post them.

Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
Went today for a short Sunday afternoon trip and unexpectedly discovered in a little village out in the absolute nowhere a beautiful old romanesque style church. Luckily I had the cam and tripod in the boot...
It's the Collegiate Church of St. Pancratius from early 12. century in Hamersleben, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany

A jewel, isn't it...

Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
I really like the trees in that site MQ.
Anyway, I was goofing around with my 70-300 IS USM with tubes and was wondering what kind of image quality I could get with them and stopped down to f/11.
I was really pissed when I saw two red mites in the image as I would have slapped on my Macro lens to get closer.
Hover fly on a Baby's Breath flower (for size comparison) ...........Spot the two red mites. (no image editing involved)

I'm calling this shot ...
Focus Insanity
Those Baby breath flowers from the last post of mine are the subject in this Dew Drop Refraction.
One single shot to get "Them" in focus. No stacking or edits.

Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
Are you sure that's baby's breath? It looks more like a daisy. Then again, you say this flower is the same as the previous one, and that doesn't look like either a daisy or baby's breath.ForM wrote:I'm calling this shot ...

Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
Yeah, we found them just at the right time. They were dripping like crazy and really creepy-looking. I almost got ink all over the lens while trying to take a shot from underneath the cap. heh.
