I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I wouldn't put this below him.
He's been downplaying and or denying Covid for months. If he did contract it, why would he admit it at all?
Tax returns, debate debacle, proud boys .. A convenient plot twist this is.

Let me put it this way; if he comes out the other end with very little consequences, even though he's in the risk group thrice (age, weight, diet) I would be very suspicious. But it will enforce the anti covid morons' belief that it's not worse than the flu. And with a little luck he can postpone the next debate so that he can then cry that he was treated unfairly during his campaign.

He will use this as an excuse to resign.

Or it could add fuel to his claim of a rigged election if he loses. This could go either way.

I guess I need a little context to understand her point. Is she a Democrat or republican? If she a democrat she could be insinuating that republicans are getting it because they don’t wear a mask. If she republican then she could be insinuating that...what’s she insinuating?

She's a political commentator who ran for congress as a republican this year. She's insinuating some kind of greater conspiracy at work here causing republicans to get infected but not democrats. It's completely insane.
