Nikon D300. I don't think that's a dust bunny, shot was a 20 second exposure. I have other long exposures with no spots.

Get your hands on the 5D Mark II yet? What body are you using as of now? Also that 17-40mm glass, is that what you mostly use? I'm trying to invest in a faster lens which also can be my new everyday lens.

i don't see the point in the mkII for me, i hardly use my 5D. if i do upgrade it'll be a 1ds.

for the last year i've had the 24 - 105 on, i've just bought the 17 - 40 which isn't that fast as it's only f/4. the 16 - 35 f/2.8 is over a grand now and i didn't want to spend that as i want a new TV soon.

Price increased alot. Goddamn power of the Yen.

Thanks man. I was taking pics with a little point and shoot, but I just got my first real camera in December and have just started trying to take real pictures instead of a random snapshot or two. Would have never considered it as a hobby unless I had seen the pics here from all the real experts and decided "hey that looks like a good way to spend a few thousand bucks in a hurry! Lets get started!"

my arm is now bigger than my 24" widescreen mon. I'll figure out how to do tis
