Spiderman 3 on IMAX (all movies I see these days are in IMAX since I found a little loophole in the pricing system... teehehehe).

7/10. I don't mind crying scenes in movies, it's just that Toby McGuire is really bad at it. They really just had too much stuff in it that they couldn't really tie in together cohesively.

*Spoiler Alert*
Why would the butler guy tell Harry about his dad dying by his own sword NOW? So he let Harry and Peter duke it out for all this time and then casually, "oh... um... forgot to mention to you, sir... before you keep trying to kill your best friend, it wasn't his fault. Mmkay, still wanted those spider tracking pumpkin bombs that you ordered?"

Spider Man 3 - 1/10

Nauseating shit. Most of the people got up and left in the last half an hour. Loud boos were heard when the title credits appeared, most of them emanating from my mouth. The '1' comes from Kirsten Dunst getting thrown on the floor.

Worst $11.50 I ever spent.

looks like Spiderman upset Captain Jihad

I really see no difference between the three Spiderman films. They basically consist of the same elements, and I can't really think of any series of films that keep such a consistent level of quality. I don't really see how people can be upset by this last one? It's basically the same as the previous ones?

I'm sure it is, as the first two were complete shite.

saw this odd movie called " The Rapture". Not sure if it's a religious movie, a horror movie or a fantasy movie or what. I guess I'd give it a 5/10 for being unusual, and mildly thought provoking, but if you can't stomach Christianity you might get tired of it quick. I still can't figure out if it was in favor of the whole Rapture theory or against it. It's kind of a b movie, too, I would say. Not much of a budget, although the way they did the beginning of the Rapture was kind of cool.

Smokin Aces - Domino all over again in terms of cheese cinematic effects and character/stereotype stuff. Still watchable pulp just like Domino.

Spiderman 3 -definitely the weakest of the three. not horrible but the story was weak and only the effects made it worthwhile.

It was a steamy pile that gets its only 2 points for some good effects near the end.

Hrm, I would've given it about a 7 I think. Maybe a 6. I thought it was very entertaining. The prologue was excellent.

I know the FX supervisor from that movie.
Tell him he did a top job with the film. He should be honoured.
