Hannibal Rising... never seen any of the other movies, but this movie was pretty lame. Just some turd running around with a sword chopping people's heads off and there's some asian lady following him.

Perfume: A Perfect Murder... what a fuckin' strange movie. It wasn't really good, but it wasn't bad either. It was just fucked up heh. I missed the beginning of it so maybe there was some explanation that would explain why the main character is doing what he is.

Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood = 9/10 - I hadn't seen it for years and it looks dated but it's still a laugh a minute piss take on the gangsta film fad.

Hot Fuzz = 8/10 - The funniest "action-packed gun-battle of geezers" I've ever seen...especially with diaper-clad old folks packin dual berettas and grannies cranking with Sten Mk IIs.

One Point 0 = 4/10 - A borefest with a story that interests you enough at certain points to keep you watching but there's no money shot - you see what happens to the guy at the end and you just go,"...oh." Nice cinematography and lighting, though.

PotC 3 "End of the world"
6 - 10. You see Keira Knightley getting sexed up, but they don't give us her butt (for example).

I'm sure Captain Mazda likes it 12/10.

Clerks 2 - 8/10. It was well executed and stuck fairly faithfully to the style and story of the original. It lost some points for being over-the-top, but you can't get past the sheer awesomeness of Randall Graves. (also, Jay's Buffalo Bill dance: :olo: )

The Good Shepard - 4/10 Points given for decent acting and camera-work. The story and its execution was shit, though. Pointless. At least Angelina didn't suck as much as she usually does.

Congrats, you applied Juggy's comment to another context.
Look, Angelina is overrated, both in talent and looks. I don't like her. Get over it.

That's your opinion and I could care less, but what other actresses are you comparing her to? Julia Jawberts? Sandra Bullcock?

Apocalypto: 6.5 Enjoyable but probably not worth a 2nd viewing. Story could've been tightened up a bit.

Irregardless, you knew what I meant. I mean, with all that said and done, who's to deny the fact that "could care less" is almost a standard in this dogmatic society?

Actually that was on purpose, along with the "all that said and done".

Too subtle? :icon32:

POTC:AWE - 10/10

VERY good film. Only thing wrong was I cant remember if the original theme from Pirates made it into there this time, but the film was great. Wasn't bored at all at any point, unlike Spiderman 3, which had me looking at my watch every 10 mins. The plot was fantastic, even if it was a little hard to get at times. Thank god I watched the second one a few days ago again :p It sumed up everything pretty nicely. The ending shocked me, I think I saw EVERY woman in the cinema gasp when Davey Jones does THAT THING he does at the end. Sad as fuck too, damn, 3 films, 8 odd hours of watchind love "bloom" so to speak and them *blam*. Oh well, see you in 10 years love (As the end scene AFTER the credits show).

Comedy wise it was spot on, so many funny moments. I don't think I've ever wanted Spike/Marsel/Jack the monkey as much as I did this time, he was just great, star of the film. It must of been CGI in places obviously, but when they were going through the artic, and hes sitting there all frozen cold shakin, holding himself... Awww :D And when they fire him throug hthe cannon! :D

Effects wise, fuck, masterpiece. ILM get better and better. Its gonna be hard topping this one for a while. The end scene with the pirates Vs the EITC was stunning. Theres a part where they blow up a certain ship, and a certain person walks down the ship, so slowly, all in slow mo, and EVERYTHING is blowing up around him. It was amazing to watch.

Over all, a fantastic film, so good. Cant quite beat the first, but hell, kicks the second one to hell and back. I'm glad we got to see Davy Jones in human form, even if it was for a few seconds. Real must see film. :icon14: :icon14: :icon14:
