Well, she lost her committee seats, but she's still a representative. And the GOP stood behind her the whole way, she was removed on mostly partisan lines.

Yeah it's kind of shocking. Only 11 republicans voted along democrat lines. Opposition claimed this set a "dangerous precedent", which is incredibly odd to say, because not completely condemning someone who is openly threatening to murder fellow house members, claiming that schoolshootings are fake and that a space laser built by jews caused the California wildfires sounds infinitely more dangerous to me.

What they really mean to say, though, is that they'll abuse this and point to it as precedent as soon as the republicans have a house majority again.

Someone needs to explain to the good people of Georgia that they are free to elect Muppets, but that doesn't mean that the rest of us have to pretend like their muppet is a real person.
