The ego is just astounding. Last night's briefing was hilarious as well... reeling off names of companies from a bit of paper, and the constant deflection of any responsibility at all. There always has to be someone else at fault because it's impossible that he could have done anything better!

There's a quote of his from 2005 that states to never accept responsibility for your mistakes and to always find someone else to blame... As I write this it sounds like no one would ever say this as it's obviously terrible advice but then this IS Trump we're talking about.

Best part is, the checks go directly to the banks and the treasury has assured them there's nothing to prevent the banks from taking the money and paying off customers' debts with it. The people will get $0. Capitalism :olo:

He isn't entirely wrong with some of his arguments. Lots of countries ignored the WHO and closed borders/restricted travel. It went against the guidelines set out by the WHO so their reluctance to make that call and tell countries to restrict travel has without doubt cost lives.

At the same time I can also see that the WHO might have been led down a path that didnt strictly represent the truth or scale of what was occurring.

They'll come in direct deposit if you set up your taxes to direct deposit last year.

However if you didn't then it won't.

Also if you have a court order for judgement due to collections that would normally result in garnishment of wages the banks can take the money and directly apply it to that somehow since it's technically a tax credit. It is not protected from private creditors like social security, etc. You are protected against garnishment from federal and state garnishments for things like taxes owed and federal student loans that you have defaulted on, except for some instances like child support.
Need groceries? Oops, looks like you have a loan so we'll just prepay into that for you. Don't forget your monthly minimum payment though.

Love,
America

The wife and I saw ours deposited last night. Luckily the memo didn't mention Trump's name.

We are down to 1: 0.7 by today.

We have to keep it at that. 1:1 - 1:1.2 is the absolut maximum we can handle with the global situation of protective gear at the moment.

Fingers crossed.
